![]() This mod hopes to change that by giving an exponentially bigger boost to tech discounts for civs that are researching techs that most of the world has already researched. ![]() There's usually at least one civ that gets crippled early on and is stuck with musketmen while everyone else has tanks. I don't like it when a some civs fall so far behind in tech that it seems unrealistic. This mod changes the research boost formula to 0.3/1.5 * (exp(1.5*R)-1). The vanilla formula is 0.3 * R, where R = number of met civs with the tech / total number of civs. The game gives players a discount on tech cost for each civ they've met that has already researched said tech. dll, so it will not be compatible with other mods that replace the. This mod seeks to help out civs that are far behind in tech while not giving too much of a discount to players that are only a few techs behind. ![]() Changes the research boost players get for each known civ that has already researched the tech from scaling linearly with the number of said civs to scaling exponentially. ![]()
